Top Tips to Stay Calm

One core value behind Dr. Imber’s Youth Corridor brand is to encourage everyone to be their best self. And now, more than ever, we need to focus on this message. The importance of self-care is the priority. Here are a few of Dr. Imber’s tips to consider to keep calm during this time.

1.Exercise

Being active is good for mind and body. Since gyms are closed, make a space at home where you can be active for at least 30 minutes a day. Check out this New York Times article for some tips.

2. Do not pull at your face

During stressful times, we tend to touch our face, pull at our eyes, scowl, frown. Everything that you should refrain from when it comes to keeping your skin wrinkle free. Become aware of your actions and try to curb the need to touch your face. Not only will it help your wrinkles, but it will also keep you healthy.

3. Zone Out

Where ever you are, if regulations permit, get out and walk. Bundle up, wear a mask or a scarf, if that makes you feel secure, get a bit of spring air. Plug in, zone out, keep your distance, and savor some joyful music.
